Oh Ivan. What a joy to read your blog post! So universal that it was like a window into myself just reading what you wrote. You touched on the divine indeed, the infinitely unfolding good although often we can’t see it in the moment. And so true how when you write, the story seems to write itself. As a writer, you just don’t know where it will take you, but indeed life’s experiences shape and mold the writing journey too.
When I read about the pattern of things getting worse before they get better…oh my! And you wrote, “as you look back knowing you’re in a good place because of all that came before.” I laughed and cried reading that. What is it about the truth that makes you laugh and cry at the same time anyway?
I have to believe that “magic” is reality. The other stuff is illusion. This shift in perspective grows stronger the more you experience in life and overcome your challenges.
Had to bookmark this post. What a great one! Thanks Ivan! Loved it!
